Whether going with a group of female friends or joining the increasing numbers of women going on a solo adventure holiday we've put together our list of favourite Winter trips to help you find that perfect Winter holiday. Here at Latitude we love to head to the mountains, and we have scoured the internet, pumped our contacts and worked our socks off to find what we think are some of the best trips around for Winter 2020. Founded in 2015 by Emma and Guy, Element Ski School in Verbier runs numerous Women's Camps throughout the Winter season. "By creating a women-only group we can focus on the psychological and physical areas specific to female skiers, and take your technique to the next level." They run a mixture of weekend and week long camps for different levels, if you want to make the most of Verbier's amazing off-piste scene check out their Backcountry Skiing weekends on the 25/26th Jan and 1/2nd Feb 2020.

With 20 hours of tuition from British Ski Cross legend, Olympian and Level 4 instructor Emily Sarsfield. Including an introduction to off-piste and freestyle skiing you will have a jam packed week. Staying in Chalet L'Arclusaz in Meribel with amazing access to the 3 Valleys Ski Area you will be spoilt with a hot tub and half board, with of course your well deserved Afternoon tea when you return from the slopes. Mint Snowboarding founder Tammy Esten will be hosting this week long camp in March 2020 in the Portes du Soleil. With 15 years of Snowboard instructing experience and as a Roxy and POW ambassador Tammy brings a wealth of experience to the week. Aimed at intermediate or advance female snowboarders this course will take your confidence to the next level with opportunities to develop your off-piste riding and freestyle skills.

Hosted by Treeline Chalets, you'll be staying in Chalet Cordee on the Avoriaz side of Morzine and with a complimentary evening programme including pilates and yoga sessions and evening sledging on the Pleny run. This looks to be an awesome week!

With less than an hours transfer from Geneva, Morzine has to be one of our favourite resorts, with a fun vibe and expanse of stunning Mountains to explore. Whilst the retreat isn't specifically for Women only, we wanted to include it in our blog as we think it bring something unique to a Winter holidays market and we love the concept. Run by Morzine based Yogi Emily Ruth and Simone Simpson, owner of Magical Snow Treks you'll spend your week immersing yourself in daily Yoga, Snowshoeing and Mountain life whilst staying at Chalet Belle Chery in Côte-D’Arbroz, just a few minutes outside of Morzine.

She Jumps Alpine Finishing School

Revelstoke, BC | 18th to 25th April 2020

One for the experienced female skier, Alpine Finishing School is a 7-day women's ski and splitboard mountaineering course. The course is instructed by Kate Devine and Shannon Werner, ski guides certified by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG). With accommodation at Selkirk Lodge, accessed by a 7 minute helicopter ride, backcountry paradise is at your doorstep! 

The course is for advanced female backcountry skiers and splitboarders to learn the skills of ski mountaineering with a mixture of classroom and outdoor based training in a supportive and encouraging environment. Topics covered include terrain management, glacier travel, crevasse rescue, route planning, companion rescue, navigation, anchor setting, rappelling, belaying, and more! 

She Jumps is a not for profit organisation serving girls age 6 and up and women aged 18 and up who either have never participated in outdoor activities or are active members of the outdoor community looking to give back and share their passion. Their mission is to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities with the aim of being the  leading resource of free and low-cost outdoor education for women and girls in the United States.
